Sri Lankan HC expresses satisfaction over the actions taken by Pak Govt pertaining to killing of a Sri Lankan national


ISLAMABAD, Dec 13 (SABAH): Sri Lankan High Commissioner Mohan Voice Admiral Wijewickrama has expressed satisfaction over the actions taken by the Pakistan Government pertaining to the killing of a Sri Lankan national in Sialkot.

He was talking to Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Dr. Noor Ul Haq Qadri, who visited Sri Lankan High Commission in Islamabad on Monday.

The High Commissioner appreciated response of Pakistani nation on the tragic incident. He said Sri Lanka and Pakistan are attached in deep diplomatic relations from the last 70 years.

The Lankan envoy also lauded the response of Prime Minister Imran Khan toward the incident.

Speaking on the occasion, Pir Dr Noor Ul Haq Qadri said the brutal assassination of the Sri Lankan manager is a shameful incident which is not acceptable to any society. The minister while assuring the Lankan envoy said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking personal interest in bringing this case to a logical conclusion.
