Incumbent govt has devastated every house in Pakistan by increasing inflation: Shehbaz


LAHORE, Dec 13 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said that the incumbent government has devastated every house in Pakistan by increasing inflation.

While talking to media persons after court appearance in Ashiana Iqbal Housing reference, Shehbaz Sharif said that the people are cursing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. The masses are unable to even have food and medicines, he added. Shehbaz Sharif said that the prices of milk are also jacked up.

Meanwhile the accountability court on Monday has adjourned the hearing of Ashiana Housing reference against Shehbaz Sharif till December 20.

The PML-N leader, former Director General (DG) of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahad Khan Cheema and others appeared before the court.

During the proceedings, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) failed to submit reply on the acquittal plea of Shehbaz Sharif and other accused and sought time from the judge. The court approved NAB’s appeal and postponed the hearing.

Meanwhile Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President and Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Muhammad Hamza Shehbaz Sharif on Monday filed an acquittal plea in Ramzan Sugar Mills case.

According to details, Opposition Leader of Punjab Assembly Hamza appeared before the accountability court and filed the plea under National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Amendment Ordinance. The court has sought reply of the anti-graft watchdog on the plea on December 20.
