ATTOCK, 22 Jan (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters and workers on Sunday staged protest rallies in Fateh Jang city against inflation and put forth their demand for the government to conduct early elections.

Former special assistant to prime minister on overseas Pakistanis and

senior PTI leader Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari headed the rally at  Fateh Jang while the second rally was led by Malik Naveed Iqbal from Tehsil Jand and Tehsil Pindi Gheb to Fateh Jang. Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari said that because of inflation in the country, people were finding it difficult to make ends meet. He said that the government was busy looting money and left the people unattended. The prices of wheat flour increased many fold and sky-rocketing chicken prices made the lives of the poor miserable.

He said that during the tenure of Imran Khan, the people were getting edibles at low prices while the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government has failed to provide any relief to masses. Miftah Ismail is criticizing his government. He said that PDM government has no economic plan. Imran Khan is returning to the field. Imran Khan’s opponents will have no place to hide.

PTI leader Sardar Muhammad Ali Khan said that after dissolution of

Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies, general elections would be announced, adding that the country would not be on the path to development unless there was political stability.

He said that people stand with Imran Khan and PTI. Imran Khan will start the election campaign soon. In the elections, PTI will win with a huge majority across the country including Punjab.
