202 computer teachers of federal capital’s schools, colleges still deprived of salaries despite passage of 11 months

ISLAMABAD, Jan 04 (SABAH): Two hundred two computer teachers of the federal capital’s schools and colleges were still deprived of their salaries despite the passage of 11 months.

Computer teachers who were inducted for four years on contractual basis in 2017 were still deprived of their salaries despite the passage of eleven months.

In 2017, computers laboratories were established in two hundred two schools and colleges of the federal capital for which the Ministry of Education along with USF recruited female computer teachers. These contractual jobs were properly advertised and the female teachers were appointed after passing through the test and interview phase. 

In February 2022, Ministry of Education endorsed this contract and these teachers contract was extended to more three years, to be extended each year. For this purpose, finance department also approved this contract which was fed in 2022 by AGPR but till now its objections could not be removed and the teachers were deprived of their salaries.
