Shehbaz Sharif as President PML-N appoints Maryam Nawaz Sharif as PML-N’s Senior Vice President with immediate effect

ISLAMABAD, Jan 03 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Maryam Nawaz Sharif as the party’s Senior Vice President with immediate effect.

According to the notification issued by the PML (N) with the signatures of Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has been authorized to reorganize the party at all levels as the Chief Organizer.

Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has shared a notification on her Twitter handle, stating that Shehbaz Sharif had announced major administrative decisions.

“Pursuant to the powers conferred under the Constitution of Pakistan Muslim League -N, the undersigned is pleased to appoint Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif as  Senior Vice President” with immediate effect,” the notification reads. “She is hereby authorized to re-organize the party at all functional tiers/levels as “Chief Organizer,” it added.

Meanwhile Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has extended heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Maryam Nawaz Sharif on her appointment as SVP/Chief Organiser of PML-N by the party President Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in consultation with the party Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

It is worth mentioning here that Maryam Nawaz Sharif was working as Vice President of PML-N.
