Indian govt prepares dossier against Syed Salahuddin
SRINAGAR, Jan 02 (SABAH): Indian government has prepared a dossier against United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed.
Director General of Police Indian held Kashmir Dilbagh Sing told media that they had prepared the dossier against Chairman United Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin and action would be taken against him.
In the held valley, he further said that cases against 649 individuals were registered under Public Safety Act (PSA) during 2022 whereas 50 vehicles were confiscated, 28 houses were impounded and number others were sealed.
As per an Indian newspaper, Vice Chairman United Jihad Council Ghulam Nabi Khan alias Ameer Khan’s two storied house was demolished. Another one story house was also demolished in the Pahalgam are of district Anantnag, owned by commander Hizbul Mujahideen, Ameer Khan who shifted in Azad Kashmir in early 90s.
A few days ago, Commander Aashiq Naingroo’s house was bulldozed in district Kulgam of southern Kashmir. According to a foreign broadcasting agency, Hindu nationalist government on the pretext of removing illegal encroachments from State land, orders to bulldoze the buildings whereas the court orders in this regard was not given preference. In India, such extra-judicial acts have been being committed since long wherein people’s houses were demolished a number of times.
