People involved in looting country’s resources for decades still part of central, provincial govt: Sirajul Haq

PESHAWAR, Dec 24 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that people involved in looting country’s resources for decades were still part of central and provincial governments.

Sirajul Haq said this while addressing the district office-bearers of Jamaat-e-Islami’s religions department at Peshawar on Saturday.

He further said that the half-dead governments were not competent enough to sort out issues of the masses.

He went on to say that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) proved to be unsuccessful in serving the masses. Neither someone wanted to dissolve assemblies nor anyone wished to quit the government as those who only loved power, how could they leave it, he added.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that numerous political parties had converted the country into a place which is a hub of issues and added that corruption and bad governance had unmasked the rulers. He said the people of the country were in the miserable condition and under debt besides their problems were increasing with each passing day.

Sirajul Haq said that troika of PDM, PPP and PTI proved to be failed on the matter of serving to the masses and added there was only issue of inability of the rulers whereas there was no paucity of resources in the country.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami wanted to enforce the system brought by the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) which establishes justice, interest-free economy and across the board accountability. He stressed upon the masses to standby the Jamaat-e-Islami to safeguard the future of the coming generations.

Sirajul Haq said that corruption was eating the country’s resources like termite and there were very weak institutions of accountability in the country, adding the courts and judges were not providing justice to the masses. Education system was in very miserable condition and over 25 million of children were not being provided with education facility. He said the rulers had deprived the masses of the health facilities and continued that they continuously changed their flags but not their agendas.
