Societies whose foundations are built on human rights prosper faster than others: PM Shehbaz 

ISLAMABAD, Dec 10, (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the societies whose foundations are built on human rights prosper faster than others.

In a statement issued on twitter on the occasion of the World Humar Rights Day observed on Saturday, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that present global tumult is explained by denial of fundamental rights to oppressed people such as Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestinians. “The world needs to renew its political will on Human Rights Day today” he said.

“Today and everyday, the Government of Pakistan will continue to work for justice, equality, dignity, and human rights for all” he said.  

“On this day, it is also imperative that we take a closer look at the human rights situation in Indian-Occupied Kashmir, where Kashmiris have been kept deprived of their right to self-determination” PM Shehbaz Sharif said.

“Pakistan also commits itself to continue extending moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in achieving their legitimate right to self-determination” PM Shehbaz Sharif said.
