Former federal govt & present PDM govt deceived the masses of Balochistan: Sirajul Haq

PISHIN.,  Dec 08 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that 14 parties of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) were part of government since last eight months whereas instead of decline there has been a rise in problems of the country.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing joining ceremony in Pishin.  He further said that the former federal government and present PDM government deceived the masses of Balochistan as the province was submerged in the revamp of hardships. The youth of the province was disappointed over the performance of the rulers as in all promises the rulers lied before the masses, he said, and added neither issue of missing persons was resolved nor the flood victims were listened to. He asked the authorities concerned that the province be not made the part of greater game.

He congratulated tribal notable Sardar Saifullah Tarin and hundreds of his companions for joining Jamaat-e-Islami and reiterated the resolve that they will speed up the efforts of transforming Pakistan into an Islamic ‘Welfare State.’ Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, emir district Pishin Zahoor Ahmed and others were present on the occasion.

Sirajul Haq said the ruling junta was responsible for inflation, unemployment, poverty, illiteracy and the current deteriorated condition of law and order of the country which was occupying the resources in the forms of lords, feudal lords, cruel capitalists and mafias. Only the solution to these problems lied with the enforcement of Islamic Revolution, he suggested, adding that Jamaat-e-Islami was putting its efforts to achieve this goal.

He said that religion can only bring the spirit of unity and honour to the nation. He said the Jamaat-e-Islami was in search of such youth who were away from committing corruption so that they may be part enforcement of Islamic System in the country.

While highlighting hardships of Balochistan, Sirajul Haq said that over 70 per cent of population of the province was passing their lives below the poverty line. The situation was so grave in nature that even in the provincial capital (Quetta) there was no clean water to drink, he deplored. Through conspiracies the people of the province were deprived of their rights, he pointed out and said that rate of unemployment in the province was higher in comparison with those of other provinces.

Rulers neither fulfilled promises made with the people of Karachi nor gave justice to the people of Tribal Areas, Sirajul Haq lamented, and added the so-called economic package was limited just to pages. He warned the rulers of rising sense of inferiority complex among the masses of the province and added inflation, unemployment and poverty had forced the people to suicides. He said the rulers were faithful to oppressive forces and see towards the United State even on the matter of recognizing Afghanistan.

Sirajul Haq said that usury was kept continue on the dictation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and deplored that the names of rulers appeared in the Panama papers and Pandora papers whose proofs were available with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the form of big files. He further said the rulers got absolved the billions of their loans whereas they looted money to make their assets abroad. He appealed to the people of Balochistan to be part of Jamaat-e-Islami instead of supporting parties of feudal lords and notables, saying Islamic System can bring prosperity and solution to the problems of Balochistan.
