Imran Khan writes letter to CJP Bandial, demanding formation of judicial commission into killing of journalist Arshad Sharif
ISLAMABAD, Dec 03, (SABAH): Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chaimran Imran Khan wrote a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial, demanding formation of a judicial commission into killing of journalist Arshad Sharif.
In a letter to CJP, PTI Chairman Imran Khan requested to constitute a judicial commission and take suo moto notice on the assassination of Arshad Sharif. He said that this was the demand of the entire nation
A nationwide campaign through a letter has been started by Pakistani citizens, requesting the Chief Justice to investigate the martyrdom of Arshad Sharif through an independent and empowered high-level judicial commission. In this campaign started by Pakistani citizens, thousands of Pakistani citizens have written letters to Chief Justice of Pakistan so far, demanding justice for the journalist.
PTI Parliamentarians have also submitted petitions in the Supreme Court pertaining to the transparent investigation of Arshad Sharif’s tragic killing, assassination attempt on Imran Khan and Senator Azam Swati case.
