We are surprised by such an unfounded & baseless statement of Russian Senator Igor Morozov: FO Spokesperson

ISLAMABAD, Nov 01, (SABAH): In response to media queries concerning remarks reportedly made by Russian Senator Igor Morozov, Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said that we are surprised by such an unfounded and baseless statement.

Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said that it is without any rationale, and is entirely inconsistent with the spirit of Pakistan – Russia relations.

We are seeking clarification on this from Moscow, he said.
