Pakistan & Saudi Arabia will jointly face all internal & regional security challenges: Rana Sanaullah
ISLAMABAD, Oct 18 (SABAH): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to sign the road to Makkah project agreement soon.
The understanding to this effect came during a meeting of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan with a delegation of senior officials of the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, also attended the meeting.
They reviewed the progress regarding the agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for the Road to Mecca project.
In the meeting, discussions were held on other matters of mutual interest, including Pakistan-Saudi bilateral relations.
They also agreed to further improve the coordination between the interior ministries of the two countries to deal with common challenges.
Saudi officials also agreed to make all-out efforts to strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations.
The Interior Minister thanked the Saudi government for providing emergency humanitarian aid to the victims of the recent floods. He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will jointly face all internal and regional security challenges.
Rana Sanaullah Khan said criminals involved in the murder of the Saudi diplomat will soon be brought to justice. He also expressed deepest sympathy to the family of the Saudi diplomat.
