FIA has picked up Senator Saifullah Sarwar Khan Nyazee in foreign funding case: Rana Sanaulah

ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (SABAH): Minister for Interior Affairs Rana Sanuallah Khan has said that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had summoned PTI Senator Saifullah Sarwar Khan Nyazee several times in foreign funding case but he did not appear, adding that now FIA has picked him up and interrogation will be conducted from him. He said that if Saifullah Sarwar Khan Nyazee will not cooperate then he could be arrested while completing the legal formalities. He said that it is more important to expose Imran Khan in front of the nation instead of arresting him.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday, Rana Sanuallah Khan said that Almighty Allah is exposing Imran Khan, adding that Imran Khan is misleading the nation and his narrative of conspiracy has been exposed.

He said nation should understand the reality of Imran Khan. Commenting on recent audio leak of Imran Khan, he said the leaked audio reveals that Imran Khan was involved in horse-trading. He said Imran Khan’s fake narrative of conspiracy has damaged our foreign relations. The Minister said Imran Khan is trying to get back in power by using any mean.

Rana Sanaullah said government will take all possible measures to maintain law and order in Islamabad. He said a plan has been formulated to counter any march towards the capital city. He said pressure groups will not be allowed to siege Islamabad.

Rana Sanaullah categorically dispelled the impression that any agency is involved in breach of cyber security of the Prime Minister House.

Rana Sanaullah said that we are holding investigation on audio leaks to determine that how cyber security of the prime minister house or prime minister office was breached, adding that we want to clear about the matter whether some hostile agency is involved or some individual is involved or hacking has occurred. He said that not only law of the country restricts protest in red zone but there are Supreme Court of Pakistan and Islamabad High Court verdicts about it.

Rana Sanaullah said that if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf wants to stage protest and sit-in while remaining in legal and democratic boundaries then it should submit application with the Islamabad administration for those places which have been specified by Supreme Court and High Court then we will provide security and also provide every facility and if they stage sit-in for six day or six months we will not stop them, adding that if they want to come to occupy and attack Islamabad then we will certainly stop them at any cost and will stop them in a way which they even have not thought.

Replying a question, Rana Sanaullah said that we have no contact with the hacker, adding that we have owned our leaked audio, adding that Imran Khan should own his audio or challenge it then we will hold forensic audit but according to our information it is 100 percent correct.

He said that what does means red zone, red zone means the buildings which are the symbols of the state including Parliament House, Supreme Court of Pakistan, President House, PM House, whether these should be allowed to compromise, adding that it is our and all law enforcement agencies responsibility to protect them.

He said that the required number of force for the protection of Islamabad is available with us from rangers’, Islamabad police, FC and railway police, adding that we had written to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab but they have refused and their refusal is on record and it was necessary to bought it on the record.
