Youth is desperate to bring about real change & no longer ready to bear already tested political parties: Sirajul Haq

LAHORE, Oct 01 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Sirajul Haq has said the youth is desperate to bring about real change and no longer ready to bear already tested political parties.

Addressing the Youth Leadership Convention at Mansoorah on Saturday, Sirajul Haq said the three ruling parties were bent upon damaging the ideological basis of the country after destroying the national economy.

The JI Youth organized the event which was attended by large number of young people from different cities.

Sirajul Haq said the trans law was an attack on the norms of the society. The laws were imposed by the western and secular powers and rulers in Pakistan acted as their agents. There was no difference among the policies of the PML-N, the PPP and the PTI as they all were available to impose western agenda on Islamic Pakistan. Their fight, he added, was only an eyewash. The ruling parties were fighting to protect their self-interests, he said, adding the youth was now fully aware of the rulers’ hypocrisy.

“The JI wants to empower common Pakistani. We want ordinary youth reach in assemblies and lead the nation.” He said the economy of the Islamic atomic power was destroyed under a conspiracy. The FATF laws passed in the tenure of the PTI with the backing of the PPP and the PML-N were plot to strengthen the control of the IMF on the country. The PTI, he added, had adopted the domestic violence law in its tenure, aiming at damaging the family system.

The JI chief appealed to the youth to become united to defend the conspiracies against the country’s ideological basis. He said the inflation, unemployment were the gifts of rulers to the people as their ill-conceived policies caused irreparable damage. He said the country was full of resources and what it needed was visionary and honest leadership. He said the doors of the JI were open for those who wanted to launch struggle to transform Pakistan into Islamic welfare state.

Sirajul Haq reiterated the call for repealing the trans law, giving the government one week for it. He asked the government to accept JI proposed amendment act for trans community rights.
