LONDON, Sep 29 (SABAH): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Maryam Nawaz on her acquittal in the Avenfield reference case.

Talking to colleagues in London, Nawaz Sharif said that the cases against Maryam Nawaz were false, the cases against me and Maryam Nawaz were political.

He said that the purpose of the cases was to get out of politics, God exposed the liars today.
