Govt will not be allowed to sit peacefully till the resolution of problems facing by masses: Khursheed Shah 


ISLAMABAD, Nov 28 (SABAH): Pakistan People’s Party senior leader and former leader of the opposition in national assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that the media will know after Foundation Day of PPP that what our next plan is, adding that the government will not be allowed to sit peacefully till the resolution of the problems facing by masses. 

In an interview with a private TV channel, Syed Khursheed Shah said that the parliament has been made rubber stump and now the institutions are also becoming rubber stump, and no one is in control of anyone. He said that a strong parliament could make a strong Pakistan. He said that Bilwal Bhutto Zardari while joining hands with Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has made a powerful joint opposition inside the parliament and it will also come outside the parliament. 

He said that after 1971 such a period has come in which it looks that we have come back from the war. He said that there is unrest in country, economy has been destroyed and confidence of the people has ended. He said that opposition is not silent; rather it is playing its role inside and outside the parliament.

Khursheed Shah said that when he was the opposition leader, he was against creating unrest because it further causes harm to the state and country. He said that if we will come out in the current circumstances then the media will say opposition is acting irresponsibly. 

Khursheed Shah said that we have given two to three years for to mend its way, adding that first the government took 100 days, then six months, then 1 year, two years and three years and now they are demanding 10 years. He said the government has changed four finance ministers.

He said that so far the government has no realization for the poor people because these people have never did politics and they only understand politics that come, eat drink and go.
