Mushaal Mullick lambasts world’s silence on Int’l Day of Peace as IIOJK turned into a hellhole

ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (SABAH): Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization Mushaal Hussein Mullick blasted the world community for their duplicity, as on one hand, they marked International Day of Peace, while on the other, they were totally unconcerned about the unabated atrocities unleashed by India fascist forces that turned Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) into a hellhole.

Speaking at a protest sit-in held outside Islamabad Press Club to mark International Peace Day and violation of human rights in IIOJK along with civil society, she said that the scenic valley has been converted into a slaughter house what to talk of peace in Kashmir.

Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, said that the situation had been very alarming in the entire valley, as all the top Kashmir leaders were kept in detention and all brutal tactics were being used to silence the dissenting voice in the valley.

She rued that every home was now a jail in IIOJK, as the occupation forces had crossed all norms of humanity to suppress innocent and unarmed people, battling for their birth and legitimate right of right to self-determination.

She called upon the United Nations to play its due role in mitigating decades’ long sufferings of the people of the IIOJK. The Hurriyat went on to say that over 1.5 million homes had been burnt to ashes by fascist authorities in the occupied region and people had been denied all basic human rights. Mushaal Mullick vowed that the brave people of Kashmir would liberate the valley from the clutches of Indian occupation despite all odds.

She stated that it was really unfortunate and shocking that the world powers and human right organisations adopted a callous attitude towards Indian atrocities in IIOJK. Mushaal Mullick said that the fascist Narendra Modi-led government converted the valley into a garrison city, as ordinary Kashmiris were forced to live under iron siege, putting the regional peace at risk. She regretted that the UN could not stop the genocide and massacre of Kashmiris what to talk of implementation of its own decades-long resolutions.

The Chairperson urged the international community to shun double standards on India’s atrocities, barbarism and serious human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir. She made it clear that resolution of Kashmir dispute was pre-requisite for making the dream of lasting peace in Asia a reality.

Secretary General peace and culture organization Sabien Hussein Mullick on this occasion said that Kashmiris continue to suffer under brutal Indian occupation while the same continues to elude South Asia for the past more than seven decades due to the free license enjoyed by India to carry out massacre of the Kashmiri people with impunity.

Meanwhile, Co-chairperson Peace and Culture Rehana Hussein Mullick said that Indian troops are using brutal force including torture against the Kashmiris on daily basis in IIOJK and Ordinary Kashmiris are forced to live under iron siege while Indian forces’ actions are no less than a holocaust in the occupied territory.
