Alkhidmat Foundation enabling poor & deserving women for employment: Sumera Chapra


LAHORE, September 5 (SABAH): Programme Manager of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore Community Centre, Sumera Chapra has said that Alkhidmat Foundation is working on capacity building of poor and deserving women of the society enabling them for employments.

Programme Manager Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore Community Centre, Sumera Chapra expressed these views while addressing a certificate distribution ceremony held to hand over certificates to those girl students who completed their computer courses under the auspices of “Alkhidmat Foundation.”

Sumera Chapra said that those students who completed their computer courses can earn their respectful earning. She said that Alkhidmat Foundation is working on the capacity building of the poor women so that they may earn livelihood. Not only education and skills polish the youth but also enable them to gain respectful jobs, she added.

Sumera Chapra further said that Alkhidmat Foundation’s motive is to serve the humanity, adding that it is working in all circles of life.

Alkhidmat Foundation is playing its important role in provision of aid to the poor and unprivileged class of the society, guardianship of orphans and their education plus training, provision of ration to the deserving people, assistance of poor households in getting their daughters married, provision of medical facilities, taking part in rescue activities during the floods as well as their rehabilitation.

Alkhidmat Foundation has sent aid worth more than Rs 5 billion to areas affected by heavy downpours and catastrophic floods wherein the philanthropists and masses enthusiastically participated.
