Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba did tremendous job in people’s character building: Ameerul Azim

LAHORE, September 2 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Ameerul Azim has said that Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba has always played a vital role in making the environment of academic institutions peaceful and guidance of students on the better lines.

Ameerul Azim expressed these views during his meeting with a delegation of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba of New Campus Punjab University on Friday. 

Area Nazim New Campus, Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, Zia Jaan conducted a meeting with the central leadership of Islamic Lawyers Forum and discussed the prevailing situation of Punjab University. Islamic Lawyers Forum appreciated the sacrifices rendered by the Jamiat for the University of Punjab.

Ameerul Azim presided over the meeting of Islamic Lawyers Forum and Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba. He said that Jamiat is their torchbearer which is teaching the youth religion and moralities besides confronting with artificial ideologies in the educational institutions. 

The General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami while thanking Almighty Allah said that even he was trained by Jamiat and he was proud of it. It is noteworthy here that during the period of students union, Ameerul Azim was himself worked as president of Punjab University students as well as performed his duties as Nazim-e-Aala of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, Pakistan.

Finally, Area Nazim New Campus, Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, Zia Jaan thanked all the participants for their participation and said, “While following the footprints of our formers, we will pass on the message of Jamiat to each and every student of Punjab University.”
