First flight from UAE carrying relief items reaches Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, August 30 (SABAH): First flight from UAE carrying flood relief assistance landed this afternoon at Noor Khan Air Base Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

The relief assistance includes food items, medical supplies and tents for the flood affectees.

This is continuation of humanitarian air bridge established between Pakistan and UAE to alleviate suffering of flood affectées.

“We thank the govt and people of UAE for this continued assistance,” said a press release issued here.
