Jordon Princess Sarah Zeid holds a meeting with Miftah Ismail

ISLAMABAD, August 25 (SABAH): Princess of Jordon Sarah Zeid Raád- World Food Programme (WFP), Special Advisor on Maternal & Child Health and Nutrition called on Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail at the Finance Division in Islamabad on Thursday.

Chris Kaye, Representative and Country Director- WFP, Mahamadou Tanimoune, Head of Nutrition-WFP, Secretary Finance and senior officials attended the meeting.

Miftah Ismail extended warm welcome to the Princess of Jordon H.R.H. Sarah Zeid Raád and thanked WFP on their continued support to Pakistan by providing humanitarian assistance.

Miftah Ismail also highlighted various reform initiatives introduced by the present government for the social uplift of the masses.

He particularly apprised about financial relief provided by the government to the women through BISP programme and cash relief announced by the government for the flood affectees.
