Dengue mosquito attacks increase in Rawalpindi


RAWALPINDI, August 25 (SABAH): Dengue mosquito attacks have increased to an alarming level in the city, and Garja Road, Chak Jaladin and Doveri have been declared a red zone.

According to district administration, the number of infected people in these areas of Rawalpindi, is increasing rapidly.  

According to the department, on the orders of the Rawalpindi commissioner, mobile laboratories have reached the affected areas, while a camp office has also been set up in this regard.

The Department of Health has also been instructed to reach the red zone areas and to expedite anti-dengue operations.

It merits mentioning here that during the previous 24 hours, 31 dengue cases were reported wherein 18 patients are from Rawalpindi, 12 from Lahore and one from Faisalabad.
