Pakistan should benefit from the experiences of France: French Deputy Head Mission Yves Manville


ISLAMABAD, August 15 (SABAH): An event was organized here on Monday under the auspices of Karachi Council on Foreign Relations (KCFR) to bid farewell to outgoing Embassy of France Deputy Head of Mission Yves Manville who is leaving Pakistan in September after completing his term. The KCFR is a prominent think tank at Karachi since 2003, which deliberates in the fields of foreign relations and economic affairs.

At the outset of the event Co-Chairman, Pathfinder Group Zarrar Sehgal and Haya Sehgal welcomed the respectable guests.
 While expressing his pleasures, Co-Chairman, Pathfinder Group Zarrar Sehgal at first introduced himself in front of the guests and then thanked the guests for their arrival. He said that Pakistan enjoys much potential in terms of exporting products.

Ikram Sehgal who is the businessman turned tech entrepreneur known for being Chairman of Pathfinder Group, which is Pakistan’s largest security services company, said on the occasion that Pakistan has a remarkable history, education, civilization, economy and industry. Exports may help Pakistan in lowering the poverty, he said, and added with a smile at his face that this was his formal address.

While expressing his views on the occasion, Outgoing Deputy Head of Mission Yves Manville said that Pakistan should benefit from the experiences of France. He said that France also saw numerous issues like mass killing but gradually it developed. He appreciated those people who work for bringing betterment in the lives of the people, adding that such people are always remembered. He said everyone knows his interest for Pakistan. In connection with creation of Pakistan, Yves Manville said due to determination of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, this transformed into a reality, adding that Pakistan is a mystery.
