PTI instead of seeking resignation from Election commissioner should seek resignation of Imran Khan: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE, August 4 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday assigned an important responsibilities to Vice President PML-N Maryam Nawaz Sharif in connection with Foreign Funding Case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its Chairman Imran Khan.

Maryam Nawaz has become active after being given the responsibilities, the sources said. She has directed the party leaders and workers to highlight the matter of Foreign Funding Case to maximum extent, adding she also assigned important responsibilities to PML-N ministers and leaders while she will herself supervise the campaign.

According to the schedule issued by the Maryam Nawaz, all the leaders will highlight the Foreign Funding Case through press conferences on daily basis, adding that previous government’s corruption and inflation will also be brought to light by targeting Imran Khan.

Sources maintained that on the directions of party head, the workers conventions will also be held throughout the country to strengthen the party, and will be addressed by the Maryam Nawaz.

She also issued directions to the party to prepare schedule workers’ conventions. Also that campaign against Imran Khan will also be expedited on the social media.

Meanwhile, in a statement issued on twitter on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that foreign funded helicopter of this foreign agent cannot be used to heal the grievances of the floods victims. These cannot visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Punjab and Sindh as Bushra Bibi, she maintained, don’t allow him to visit the places where people have died in wake of heavy rains and floods as it is not allowed by the foreign funds and their agenda.

Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) instead of seeking resignation from Election commissioner should seek resignation of Imran Khan, who damaged party for filling his pockets through illegal money.

Not only Imran Khan will go but he will also submerge his party members on whom names he transferred money from abroad.

On the occasion of Police Martyr’s Day that is observed on August 4, Maryam Nawaz paid rich tribute to the martyrs and nation’s audacious sons who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country and nation. She also paid tributes to those personnel and officers of Punjab Police who are being targeted for undertaking their duties by the judicial government ruling the province.
