Country’s recruitment & promotion system based on ‘liking & disliking’: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, July 29 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch has said the recruitment and promotion in judiciary, executive, politics and state institutions are being made on the basis liking and disliking instead of merit.

Liaqat Baloch said this while addressing the gathering of Milli Yekjehti Council, Balochistan on Friday. Unfair exercise of powers paralyzed the system of State, he said, adding emotions of hatred, hopelessness and rebellion are intensifying among the masses at high pace.

Controversial court judgments and disagreement on judges’ appointments are itself a question mark before the credibility of judiciary, he said, and continued that people have not been understanding for recent past the way judges are running the courts as without credibility of judiciary the social fabrics of the society will fracture.

People hatred against judiciary and civil-military establishment is multiplying rapidly, Liaqat Baloch said, adding the authoritative attitude of considering masses inferior to them has been kept continue since last 75 years which ought to come to an end.

Supremacy of Constitution, equal division of national resources and free, fare and transparent polls are a guarantee of prosperous and Islamic Pakistan, he noted.

Moreover, business community of Balochistan held sittings with Liaqat Baloch and discussed with him the export and import issues, corruption, black money and skyrocketing taxes.

On this occasion, he appealed to the public sector institutions to say goodbye to corruption while exercising their powers with the spirit of patriotism, and not further ruin the already deteriorated economy of the country as it still stands beyond the control from the ruling regime. On the lines of former premier Khan, this incumbent ruling coalition government is still not healing the masses woes, he deplored.

Whilst his address to the gathering of Milli Yekjehti Council, he said the sacrifices of Karbala’s martyrs be made a source of power for the unity of ummah and all the Islamic world as only Hussaini system is successful and Yazidi System is unsuccessful.

He appealed to the religious scholars to work for inculcating awareness among the public for enforcement of Islamic system as all the systems in caparison with God-made system have proved to be failed. Manmade systems cultivated lust for power, corruption, prejudice, and disorder, he said and added that Milli Yekjehti Council will ensure peace, unity and mutual respect during the month of Muharram across the country.
