Says PML-N respects the courts: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE, July 23 (SABAH): Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that action will be taken against those who are taking law into their hands in the name of protest.

Talking to media persons in Lahore on Saturday, Sanaullah said the workers and leaders belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gathered outside the Supreme Court Lahore Registry after defeat of their candidate in the Chief Minister’s election on Friday and entered the building by crossing the walls.

The interior minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) respects the judiciary as it is necessary for rule of law in the society.

He said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan intends to divide the nation so there is no need to rely on PTI with regard to any matter.  The decision which was celebrated by the PTI has now blocked its way, he pointed out.

Decisions ought to be taken in the light of traditions of the courts, he said, adding the PML-N should not be pushed to the wall.

He maintained that the rumours were making round that their members’ loyalties were being  purchased but after voting it transpired that the case was totally otherwise.

Sanaullah was of the view that PTI is master in forging propaganda, saying they use abusive language against the courts when decisions are taken against them while on the other side the PML-N respects the courts.
