Kashmir ‘Freedom Movement’ being pushed to the wall: Liaqat Baloch
NEELUM VALLEY, July 23 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and ex-Member National Assembly (MNA), Liaqat Baloch has said that Kashmir Freedom Movement is being pushed to the wall and conspiracy to recognise Israel is on the rise.
He said this while addressing the public gatherings at Neelum Valley on Saturday.
The whole nation should need to come forward to foil this conspiracy, he said and added that occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s special status was abolished in the wake of Narendra Modi’s condemnable acts as well as the government and leadership of Azad Kashmir were also held responsible that it could not play their crucial in connection with the Freedom Movement.
Instead of many deprivations, the masses belonging to Neelum Valley and Azad Kashmir enjoy affection for Islam and Pakistan, the naib emir Jamaat-e-Islami noted, and added that people belonging to this area are fully-equipped with the quality of honor.
If nobody comes forward to compensate their depravations then in that case Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir are ready to safeguard their interests, he elaborated.
He appealed to the people from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan to stand by Jamaat-e-Islami as it will compensate their deprivations.
Acting Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sheikh Aqeelur Rehman Advocate, Central Secretary Muhammad Tanvir Anwar Khan, district Emir Lower Neelum Enait Ali Qasmi and other leaders also addressed on the occasion.
Whilst address, Liaqat Baloch said that Resolution of Pakistan (Lahore Resolution) was passed with the consultation of Syed Maudoodi in the presence of Quad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, portraying that religious scholars have always been demanding for the enforcement of Islam, Shariah and the Prophetic System; however, sectarianism proved to an obstacle in the enforcement of Shariah.
Moreover, he said that true love with Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is basic element of our beliefs as Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: “If you intend to love with Allah Almighty, obey to Muhammad (SAW) and His companions.”
He deplored that Pakistani people were gripped in the clutches of prejudice related to sectarianism and racialism which is causing detrimental to all the Muslim Ummah.
Last but not least Liaqat Baloch said that 1973 Constitution and democratic system were trampled in different times due to which Pakistan remains deprived of enforcement of Islamic System till-date. All the powers are hidden in the Islamic System not anywhere else, he pinpointed.
