Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is illegitimate and utter cruelty and bullying, the rulers and policy makers in Islamabad must not deny the rights of the people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan for the sake of politics: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE: July 14:Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, in a meeting with Syed Sarwar Shah, Patron of Gilgit-Baltistan National Solidarity Council, Sheikh Mirz Ali, President, Mushtaq Ahmed Advocate, General Secretary, Maulana Abdul Aleem, said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan liberated the region with Jehad and imperishable sacrifices. Gilgit-Baltistan is a very important, strategical base camp for the Kashmir Independence Movement. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have been making everlasting sacrifices for the independence of Kashmir since 1913. Dividing the state of Jammu and Kashmir into pieces and making the problem disappear is the common agenda of the enemies of freedom. India has become a rogue state. Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is illegitimate and utter cruelty and bullying. In the face of fascist India, the people of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, the Occupied Kashmir Valley and Jammu have to resist as one entity, one body, one nation and break the chains of slavery.
Liaqat Baloch said that cheating with the people of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan must be stopped. Ensure the provision of political, democratic, constitutional rights, justice, law, a positive, balanced relations based on equality is the basic human right of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan. Tunnel should be constructed for ground connection of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Islamabad should provide special funds for this purpose. The gulf of mistrust between Islamabad and the people of Gilgit-Baltistan should be bridged. Economic, financial, employment related issues should be resolved forthwith. The people should not be indulged into other crises including food security. The rulers and policy makers in Islamabad must not deny the rights of the people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan for the sake of politics. Innocent people should be released. Prisoners deprived of judicial justice should be given the right to hear cases. Make a national strategy for the independence of Kashmir. All stakeholders should be united.
Liaqat Baloch said that the Muslim League and PTI want favorable results in the elections. Electoral code of conduct and authoritative elections are unbearable for them. Imran Khan and Maryam Nawaz have poisoned the political, democratic and electoral process through their speeches in Punjab by-election rallies. PTI, PDM are not the solution to the problems, they are the torment of the people. Let Jama’at-e Islami have support of the masses and we promise that politeness, responsibility and protection of public interest will come in politics.
