Imran Khan says he knew that who were involved in conspiracy to topple his govt

ISLAMABAD, July 05 (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that he has remained silent to save the country from chaos, and he knew that who were involved in the conspiracy to topple his government but if they continue to harass him and his party then he will reveal the names of the conspirators.

While addressing a press conference, the PTI chairman said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s government was ousted by imposing martial law in Pakistan on July 5 because the United States was not happy with Bhutto’s government. The US don’t like Pakistan’s independent foreign policy, he added.

The former prime minister said that the leadership and workers of his party were being harassed and false cases were being registered.

“I am sitting quietly to save the country from chaos and I know who played the part in a conspiracy to topple his government and if they did not stop to harass my party and me then I will be forced to reveal the names of conspirators,” Imran Khan warned.

Taking a dig at Punjab CM, Imran Khan said that Hamza Shahbaz is misusing his authority to rig the upcoming Punjab by-elections, adding that there are corruption cases of Rs16 billion on him but he is moving freely in the country. PTI will win the by-elections of Punjab despite the steps made by the government to rig the elections.

Rebuking the incumbent government, he said that the only motive of the current rulers was to get NRO they have no idea to save the country from present crises, adding that the economy was improving in his government, tax collection was increasing in his time but the incumbent government has broken all the records of inflation.

The PTI chairman reiterated that he has recorded a video and kept it in a secured place, which would be released if anything happened to him “to expose all those who had committed treason against the country”.

While referring to registration of cases against PTI leaders and journalists, Imran Khan said if his party continued to be pushed against the wall through intimidation and harassment then he will be compelled to expose all “conspirators” involved in toppling his government.

“I am respectfully asking my judiciary that our fundamental rights have been suspended in this country.. journalists are being threatened and FIRs have been registered against our senior leaders to silence them,” he remarked. Imran Khan said that 15 FIRs have been registered against him.

Imran Khan said the “fascists tactics” were being used to impose thieves on the country and all state institutions had been “destroyed” as well to support the incumbent rulers.

“This is not a democracy as we are moving towards fascim… first you hatched a conspiracy and then you imposed thieves on the country and now destroying all institutions,” he remarked.

Imran Khan also alleged that the entire administration along with Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was plotting to manipulate the upcoming Punjab by-elections in favour of PML-N

“This is a decisive moment… if you surrender before the idol of fear then they [coaltition government] will cause further destruction in the country,” he said while urging people to vote for PTI candidates in the by-elections as the fate of CM Hamza-led Punjab government hinges on it. “Despite their rigging attempts we have to defeat them and win this elections.”
