National Security Committee decides to negotiate with banned outfit
ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (SABAH): Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) on Friday in its meeting has decided to not close doors of negotiations on the banned outfit protesting across the country.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan chared the meeting while, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and Federal Minister Noorul Haq briefed the participants over the external links of the banned outfit.
A report was also presented to devise proper strategy to deal with the law and order situation in the country.
The attendees of the meeting were informed that the protesters directly attacked police and martyred three personnel.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB) and some key ministers.
