JIP announce rallies on June 09 against blasphemous remarks of BJP officials about Holy Prophet Muhammad
ISLAMABAD, June 07 (SABAH): Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) has announced rallies on June 09 across the country including Islamabad to record protest against the derogatory remarks made by the two senior BJP officials about the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
This was announced by Naib Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan Mian Muhammad Aslam on Tuesday during a press conference along with JI Punjab Ameer Dr Tariq Saleem, JI Islamabad Ameer Nasarullah Randhawa, JI Rawalpindi chief Arif Sherazi and Kashif Chaudhry.
Mian Aslam categorically stated that derogatory remarks about Holly Prophet (PBUH) are totally unacceptable adding that Indian lady spokesperson of BJP had not only deeply hurt the sentiments of the people of Pakistan but also of two billion Muslims across the world.
JIP Ameer Sirajul Haq would lead the rally in Islamabad on June 09, Mian Aslam said adding that JI workers would march toward Indian High Commission from Abparra chowk. We would compel government to take action against India according to the wishes of masses, he said.
Mian Aslam demanded of the government that Indian High Commissioner should be deported from Islamabad. He said that International Community, United Nations and International Human Rights organisations should play their role against Islamophobia.
Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) the party of Nareendar Moodi is a fascist party , he said adding that BJP has demolished many mosques including Babri Mosque in India.
Dr Tariq Saleem said that BJP led Indian government does not follow international laws, it should be responded in same language which it understands. We would never tolerate blasphemous language about our beloved Prophet (PBUH).
JI Islamabad Leader Nasarullah Randhawa urged whole Muslims specially Islamabad’s residents to participate in rally on June 09.
