Marriage boxes distributed among 25 families under Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore

LAHORE, June 03 (SABAH): Marriage boxes were distributed among 25 families under Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore. In this regard a simple but splendid ceremony was held at Karamat Colony Community Center. 

While addressing the ceremony Manager Community Services Afshan Tahir said that during the current era of inflation it has become difficult for the parents to wed their daughters. She said that Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust makes every possible effort to address the sufferings and difficulties of the backward and poor segments of the society.

Afshan Tahir said that in this regard the work is going on in different fields including looking after the orphan children, provision of ration and wedding boxes to girls. She said that we have to avoid showcasing and follow the simple way of life to deal with the untoward circumstances.

While expressing well wishes for the families who secured the marriage boxes, Afshan Tahir addressing the mothers said that the real gift is the upbringing of their daughters so that they should keep in tact their families with love.
