Alkhidmat Foundation’s supply to Gaza has been restored, a new batch of relief goods has been sent from Jordan to Gaza: Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman
LAHORE, Dec 11 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s supply to Gaza has been restored. Central President Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, giving details, said that with the cooperation of Jordanian Royal Medical Services and Pakistan Embassy in Jordan, a new batch of relief goods has been sent from Jordan to Gaza for the victims, which includes medicines and food items.
Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said on this occasion that Alkhidmat Foundation has sent a total of 20 consignments to Gaza, including 15 by air, three by sea and two by road consignments. These consignments include food packages, food cans, flour, rice, water, medicines, hygiene kits, delivery kits, baby kits, tents, jerry cans, winter package, family package, blankets, and mattresses.
In addition to this, he said that Alkhidmat has provided educational assistance to Palestinian students in Egypt and Pakistan, as well as supporting the admission of Palestinian children from Gaza to various universities in Pakistan, adding so far Rs 4.5 billion have been spent on these relief activities.
Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that the people of Pakistan will not leave their Palestinian brothers and sisters alone and will continue to provide them with all possible assistance. Due to the acceleration of Israeli attacks, there was a temporary halt in the delivery of aid to Gaza, which after continuous efforts by the Alkhidmat team through partners resolved it, he said. A series of relief supplies has begun to send once again to Gaza, he added.
