Efforts are being made to provide world-class facilities to the citizens of Islamabad: Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (SABAH): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the F8 Exchange Chowk Interchange and Serena Chowk Interchange projects. He announced that the underpass included in the F8 Exchange Chowk Interchange will be opened for traffic on December 25, 2024. He appreciated the contractor and Islamabad administration for completing the underpass in just 43 days and said that the F8 Exchange Chowk Interchange will be fully inaugurated in the second week of February. He added that the Serena Chowk Interchange will be inaugurated in the first week of January, which will be completed in just 60 days.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction work on both mega projects and observed the construction work of the underpasses and flyovers of the projects. He directed that both the projects should be completed within the stipulated time frame. He directed to continue the work on both projects for 24 hours a day. Mohsin Naqvi also met the workers on the sites of both the projects, he appreciated and encouraged the workers. He advised all the workers, contractors and CDA official to continue working with the same zeal and enthusiasm. He highlighted that efforts are being made to provide world-class facilities to the citizens of Islamabad, adding that the completion of these mega projects will significantly improve the traffic flow in Islamabad.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed about the progress of both the projects. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, senior officers of CDA and contractors were also present on the occasion.
