There is need to expose shortcomings in electoral system & bring improvement in it: Liaqat Baloch

QUETTA, Nov 09 (SABAH): Acting Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that there is need to expose shortcomings in electoral system and bring improvement in it. He said that due to incumbent corrupt electoral system honest leadership is not coming forward and masses have also no confidence in this system. He said that the nominated candidates of Jamaat-e-Islami should bring improvement in contacts with the masses and there is need to organize the election campaign.

This was stated by Liaqat Baloch while addressing the electoral review meeting at provincial secretariat in Quetta. He said that in current system all have been tested, no positive and good change occurred and masses problems were also not resolved. He said that Islamic system was also not enforced and masses also did not enjoy the legal and constitutional rights. He said that caretaker government is exceeding its mandate, adding that the national leadership should be taken into confidence on the national issues.

Liaqat Baloch said that Muslim rulers disappointed the Muslim Ummah on the issue of Palestine and Gaza and encouraged America and Israel. He said that with the Blessings of Almighty Allah, Palestine will be liberated and Israel and America will be destroyed. He said that the Muslim Ummah needs zealous rulers. He said that problems of Balochistan are always ignored, adding that JI will ensure rights to Balochistan. He said that the people should vote for candidates of JI and its election symbol scale for securing rights, adding that it is not wisdom to retest those who have been time and again tested.

The meeting was attended by Emir JI Balochistan Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, JI Balochistan Secretary General Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch and JI candidates of provincial and national assemblies.
